We have messed with this thing and every way we tried we came up with a different problem. Are you talking about the frame mounted fuel pump, or the mechanical tandem lift pump (the one located inside the %26quot;valley%26quot; of the block). If it's the electrical frame mounted one, it should be self evident, other than the fuel coupler fitting tools required to disconnect the lines from the pump. The tandem lift pump, however can be tricky. They do quite commonly seize up to the engine block, and break upon removal.
