How to put a gas tank on a 2000 s10 truck?

I'm changing out the fuel pump, and having some problems getting the gas tank back into place.How to put a gas tank on a 2000 s10 truck?Loosen the bolts that hold the body on, take them off and slide the body back 6 inches and you will have no trouble.
