This can't possibly be true. The pump went IN though the hole. It will come OUT though the SAME hole.
Whatever you have done is NOT everything. The fact you thing it is indicates you need someone that is mechanically inclined.

Electric fuel pump stuck in tank?Did you disconnect your battery and hoses to the tank? Did you remove the straps and drop the tank? Did you remove the lockring with the pump?
